Quitting a job with no backup
Yes, I work in an MNC, like most of us do or are doing at the same time. The job culture is not same everywhere. True.
Let me tell you a secret job is not a synonym of culture where humans are treated like robots.
But it's just a nice place where robots are creating robots.
Forgive ME.🙏
We will agree that once in a life time of our jobs tenure there has to be a moment where we all felt that this 9 to 5 job is not my cup of tea, therefore I should quit it as soon as possible. But then it is us acting as only fact in a star schema, where we are linked with all dimensions around us whether it be job security, the addiction of monthly salary, the bills, loans, EMI, family responsibility, kids etc... the list is endless.
It is the dependency of others on us and the dependency of us on money. Just a small word 'MONEY' but everything is revolving/working around it in this world.
Money has never made anyone happy. It's the temporary bliss that fades away as soon as all the money has been spent. That's tough life, we should all agree on it.
It has been injected into human minds that money can buy everything. True but not so true.
Money cannot and can never buy MANNERS, TRUST, SYMPATHY, LOVE, CARE etc.
Coming to Quitting a job with no backup was the toughest decision for me to take. But I gathered all the courage that I could, I believed in myself and others also should believe in me.
I quitted because for me my mental health and happiness was a top priority.
I trusted myself and my potential that yes I may be late in understanding and doing things what I love but definitely I will try to make myself better each and everyday.
I do not let any negative thought cross my mind. Fear of having no money or being jobless I literally give by best to overcome it and I am sure others can also do it. It was hell tough, had few sleepless nights too.
After working hard I did received a lumpsum amount of retention bonus which I had to return because I left before completing an year.
Getting a bonus for investing your hard work into work for a year, and then your company says okay take this bonus but you have stay here for 1 more year. That's like a lollipop to a kid.
Life is tough and it always will be to us, but we are TOUGHER and STRONGER.
